HOw do you "do" these pictures that look like little scrapbook pages? Is that part of your digital kits? I want to buy a kit & try to make over my blog - but I am afraid that I will get it & then, nothing!? Just wondering if you have nay advice for where? to start!? Thanks (love your site - watched your onetruemedia video very precious!)

Hey Sara,

Thanks so much for your sweet compliments! What adorable little boys you have! It looks like you are in the same slow boat to China for your little girl. I can attest that no matter how long it takes to finally get her in your is so worth it all. It's one of the most incredible, breathtaking experiences of your lifetime.

As far as blog design and scrapbooking (once you figure it out, you can do both easily), it can be confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's gets much easier to do the html coding on your personal site and designing your own creative pages is SO MUCH FUN! You will love it, and it's slightly addictive. :)

First you buy the materials (i.e. "elements, papers and kits), you download them off the site and upload the files into your photo editing software to design your pages. I use Adobe Photo Elements and love it. You can get a free trial to try it all out for thirty days. (

From there, you can also design your pages and even your blog. To upload a background image to your blog, you will need to upload a scrapbook paper to something like, then you will be able to have a link to add to your HTML coding on your personal blog. Here's some great directions on how to design your own site at

I hope this helps you get started, but just let me know if you need more help along the way.

Thanks again and I look forward to enjoying the journey to our daughters together!
